Red Wahoo was founded with the vision of becoming the world's best provider of enterprise integration services and solutions.
Red Wahoo was born at the time of the dot-com bust in late 2001. The Directors had experienced the inherent limitations of existing traditional integration approaches and solutions. We envisioned that to provide integration scaleably and cost effectively, the emerging Enterprise Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture and Model Driven Architecture principles & open methods (such as UN/CEFACT's UMM) could be used during design, and open WS-** and ebXML standards could be used to implement repeatable, scaleable and cost effective systems.
Initially Red Wahoo focused on professional services to implement application interoperability. Later we recognized the opportunity to complement mainstream middleware products by providing them the capability of open and scaleable integration between enterprises.
In the past few years we have begun to realise the potential of our using our services and tools together to deliver maximum value to our clients. We leverage our deep skills in delivering Enterprise Architecture frameworks/ models to our clients. We design and implement data and process standards through advanced modeling techniques using those EA frameworks/ models. Using open standards' based tools, the models produce artefacts which then can be deployed and managed to achieve integration internal to an enterprise and between enterprises using 3rd party tools such as SAP XI.
In addition to our Enterprise Architecture-based services, we believe our original vision can be realised in two additional, but very different ways. Firstly, by providing our clients with best of class collaboration tools (wikis) we aid the integration of an enterprise or group of enterprises by providing a means to communicate and share information. Secondly, we provide specialist Business Consulting skills (leveraging those same Enterprise Architecture tools and techniques where applicable) to implement enterprise software, particularly SAP, to clients seeking to implement such software with a business-centric approach to integrating their business information.
Thus whilst our service lines are different, they are all in keeping to our original vision of being the world's best provider of enterprise integration services and solutions.
