Red Wahoo offers five specific service lines:
  • Enterprise Architecture Services

    Red Wahoo offers leading edge Enterprise Architecture services, specifically in the fields of Business and Information Architectures. We are well versed in the major frameworks (Zachman, FEAF, TOGAF), but also subscribe to the Process Centric Enterprise Architecture Methodology defined by BP Trends. This methodology has a primary emphasis on organisational goals and strategies and designing business processes to achieve them.

    We also recognise that the value of an Enterprise Architecture comes from delivering business capability through I.T., aligned to business strategy and goals. Hence, we define a high level holistic enterprise model, but quickly drill down through functional areas, rather than working on each level of an Architecture one level at a time. This in turn means the time to delivery (where by all the architecture is defined in a specific function) is much shorter. This approach is what some in the industry are calling) "partitioned-iterative" approach, rather than a traditional recursive approach.

    Through Red Wahoo’s participation in and leadership of UN/CEFACT and OASIS working groups, our Services professionals are able to leverage the latest international standards trends for interoperability for our clients.    In 2004 Red Wahoo was engaged by the Victorian Government Smart Freight project to complete a process and technology model of the Port of Melbourne supply chain for the import and export processes (land and sea) (refer to the DOI website). More recently Red Wahoo has completed detailed, multi dimensional business process models for the supply chain and procurement processes for a state health procurement department. 

    Red Wahoo has been highly commended both nationally and internationally for its rigorous application of UN/CEFACT Unified Modelling Methodology (UMM). Indeed the Port of Melbourne model developed by Red Wahoo will serve as a reference architecture for the UN/CEFACT global ports modeling project.

    More recently, Red Wahoo has developed standards-based process and data models in the steel industry, and in various government sectors such as in Planning, and for applications to Local Councils (e.g. permits, registrations etc.)

  • SAP Design, Roll Out, Change Management and End User Support

    Our SAP business process practice extends our core UMM process modeling competency into the SAP domain.  We leverage our UMM knowledge to develop process modeling frameworks which produce consistent, standards based process models that underpin the fundamental design, end user training, integration testing and end user support activities. 

    Our consultants are highly experienced and well trained in the development, planning and execution the deployment of SAP to our clients’ end user community.   We specialize in business process design, end user training planning and delivery, cut over planning and support, data migration and on site post go live support.  In the past two years alone Red Wahoo has led and completed eight successful statewide roll-outs of SAP to hundreds of users.   Let us assist your organization to leverage SAP to its full potential.

  • SAP Integration

    Our SAP Integration practice specializes in the integration of SAP to other applications, be they internal or external to the enterprise.  Our specialist engineers have completed a range of asynchronous and synchronous cross application integrations and are well experienced in the installation, set up and configuration of SAP XI. 

  • Collaboration

    Our Collaboration practice designs, configures, implements and supports Collaboration-centric tools, such as Atlassian's Confluence and JIRA products. As an example, we implemented and now support over 2000 active users in a whole of government collaborative workspace called GovDex, maintaining both the user interface and the technical back end at a 3rd party hosting provider. At another client, we have implemented JIRA with workflow to provide a means to log and escalate enterprise issues and suggestions.
